Mrs. Patricia D. Allen


LWSC Choir Member Patricia Diana Allen entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. The LWSC Choir has been asked to render two selections at her Homegoing Service on Saturday, September 28, 2013, 1:00 p.m., Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 341 Hill Street, S.W.,Atlanta, GA 30312.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2013, 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at William Gayleano Murray and Sons (Atlanta Chapel), 923 McDaniel Street, S.W. 404-963-5634.

In Memory Of

This week's choir rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, rather than Thursday, May 19th. The LWSC Choir has been asked to sing on Thursday at the home-going service of Mr. Herbert Lee Cobb, husband of LWSC choir member Kathy Cobb.

Lumas Kelly - The Journey Home

Mr. Lumas Kelly, beloved and dedicated LWSC Volunteer, A-Team Volunteer, and one of the LWSC Choir's musicians passed away on February 8, 2011. Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at New Life Church of God in Christ, 715 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta, GA

LWSC Veterans Day Program

This is a picture of the choir taken before the start of the LWSC Veterans Day Program. The program was presided over by Major General Willie Alexander (US Army Retired), who is also a member of the choir. It was an inspirational program from start to finish.
